Spotify, and being ill

I have realised, now, more than ever, that being ill sucks, the programs on dave are actually repeated weekly, and the programs on yesterday, are the same all week, so I have been very bored.

Just a quick one really, I'm pointing people to Spotify which is an amazing thing, it allows almost unlimited listening with very few adverts between songs. The quality is quite good, and the range of artists is enough to entertain my eclectic mix of stuff from Pearl Jam, to Philip Glass! There is no Metallica, or Tool but I can understand that Metallica dont see it as profit making so they wont do it! But it'd awesome, have a listen.

Ohh I'm also on Twitter as well! Just want to clear one thing up as well, I am not anything to do with the GTA IV character call Thomas Stubbs the Third!

Blugh and illness and some understanding the obama "effect"

I've been bedridden for the past 24 hours, and can I just say that day time telly, is dull and boring, there's not anything interesting on apart from on the yesterday channel, and old episodes of Top Gear on Dave.

Any way, a few days ago, I tried to begin to understand how both the Labour Party and Conservative Party claim to be the face of what Obama stands for. First things first, Obama is a Liberal we can see that in the way he has brought about common sense to foreign policy, brought the idea of Keynesianism back to economic policy (which is working), and a willingness to listen to those who disagree.

So with the Tory party giving their young members t shirts with blue skys and the word change, the tory's are trying to say that they are the british version of Obama. Lets get one thing straight, Liberal Conservative is an oxymoron, and doesnt make sense. The economic policy of the tories is "do nothing!" Which is to say, we dont care about poor people, we just dont want taxes to go up for rich people. Foreign policy they effectively similar to the Labour party, and that means, the Iraq War, they were both for it!

The Labour Party have no right either to call themselves as part of the Liberal ideology, because we've seen what over a decade of authoritarian home office has done, peaceful protesters being punched kicked and arrested for doing nothing wrong, an illegal war in Iraq and a economic policy which only benefits people like Fred the Shred, and people who can afford to make big purchases on the high street, with the stupid and wasteful vat cut.

Look at Obama's policies, his style and what he says, and make your own mind up!

oooooooooooohhhhhhhh exciting and grrrr

Hellooooo, well bloody hell hasnt this been a long time since my last blog!

Any way sorry I havent done this for ages, I've been a little busy, well very busy!

First of all recently I got selected to be the candidate in a local council election, but I'll blog about that later on. I am now the candidate for the Trehaverne ward for Cornwall Council election on 4th June. But again more about that later.

The real point of this blog is this;- I DONT CARE ABOUT PUERILE EMAILS. It's consumed the media of the past weekend, and it was purely a discussion about how immature people have been. I bet the emails going round the tories are just as bad, and not intent for publication, infact, they're probably going round every office in the country! Did the news media just get really bored about reporting important stuff? Did the BBC/itv/sky/newspaper editors just sit round and think what the easiest story to report? It's not like there's a massive economic crisis, two wars which the country is embroiled in and effectively a revolution coming about in moldova due to the use of social networking sites. No they chose the content of an email which they cant read out, sent by a bloke we've never heard off, sent to another bloke we've never heard off!

PLEASE CAN WE HAVE SOME PROPER NEWS
